2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Harambee Stars players who can hurt Rwanda

Amavubi will be hosting their neighbouring opponents hoping to bounce back from their 1-0 loss away to Mali

Who can hurt Rwanda?

Here is a list of players who can make an impact for the Harambee Stars in their crucial World Cup qualifier away from home on Sunday:
Aboud Omar and Erick Ouma of Kenya.

Erick Ouma

The left-back is known for his commitment in defending and his zeal in the attack. He has to help in build-ups and ensure he assists the forwards and midfielders in creating chances. His crosses in the danger zone will be vital for Kenya’s scoring chances.

Richard Odada of Kenya.

The Red Star Belgrade midfielder was impressive in his debut against Uganda. He was not afraid of tackling and dictating the tempo in midfield despite being just 20. More or the same will be expected on Sunday.
Kennedy Muguna of Kenya and Harambee Stars vs Tanzania.

Kenneth Muguna

He was unusually quiet on Thursday in the goalless draw at home to the Cranes and will have to up his game against Amavubi on Sunday. Muguna will have to coordinate well with fellow midfielders to ensure they create chances for the attackers.

Boniface Muchiri of Tusker.

Came in versus Uganda with about 20 minutes to go and put the Cranes defenders on their toes. Coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee is contemplating starting the winger against Amavubi and if it happens, the hosts must be wary of his threat.
Michael Olunga vs Uganda.

The newly crowned Harambee Stars captain has to deliver on Sunday to get some pressure off his back. He was more of a spectator on Thursday against Uganda but away to Rwanda, he has no alternative than to deliver.
