Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have raided the home of embattled former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa in Karen, Nairobi.
The detectives were forced to jump over the fence after Echesa apparently declined to open the gate until his lawyer arrives at the home.
Sources disclosed that investigators are stormed the home in search for documents related to the multi-billion fraud case facing the former Cabinet Secretary and others.
Citizen Digital also understands that the detectives are also probing tax evasion claims against Echesa in regards to several vehicles linked to him.

They were arraigned on February 17 and charged with conspiring to commit a felony, making a document without authority, obtaining money by false pretence, attempting to commit a felony and uttering a false document.
They denied all the charges and are out on a Ksh.1 million cash bail with an alternative of a Ksh.3 million surety bond.
