Here’s what we know about the show so far.
Jacquemus has shown off-calendar for the past few seasons, choosing instead to showcase his collections in a unisex format in June to capitalize on social media impact. In the statement posted on Instagram he introduced the show and collection (called L’Amour) writing, “A year go we decided to slow down our cycle by showing women’s wear and men’s wear together. This has allowed us to reduce the number of shows, share fabrics across both collections and slow the place for my team and partners. More than a creative choice, it’s a sustainable model we believe in and that works for us.”

No further details are known about the show, however it’s pretty safe to assume it will be nothing short of showstopping. The last show staged by the brand was in July 2019 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the label in which Jacquemus ran a hot pink catwalk through the middle of a lavender field in Provence.
Jacquemus joins the likes of Dior, Burberry and Fendi who have announced they are pressing ahead with physical runway shows in the coming months, however Fendi is the only other brand to confirm it will have an audience present for the show. Couture Week is currently underway in a totally digital format – see the virtual presentations here.
