Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has said President Uhuru Kenyatta has successfully managed to convert Deputy President William Ruto and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen into Bible preachers.
The combative argued Ruto had no more power and roles in the Jubilee government after the Head of State stripped him of his key duties.
Taking to his social media pages on Monday, April 27, Miguna compared Ruto’s alleged betrayal by Uhuru to the wrangles between his late father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
“Uhuru Kenyatta has converted William Ruto and Kipchumba Murkomen into Bible thumbing preachers. Uhuru has betrayed them the way his father betrayed Jaramogi, Oneko, Mboya, Karumba and the Mau Mau fighters and Raila Odinga betrayed me,” he posted.
Ruto and Murkomen and a section of Tanga Tanga members have in the recent past quoted powerful Bible verses in response to critics.
Here’s a sample of the tweets even as political commentator Mutahi Ngunyi said Ruto and his allies were afraid of directly confronting the president.
