Reviews.org—a company specializing in tech reviews— recently published a report on the best cities in the U.S. for digital nomads, and the results are interesting.
Experts have considered the average internet speed of each city and included other factors, such as available remote jobs, number of Free WiFi Hotspots, miles from the nearest airport, monthly rent cost per square foot, miles from nearest National Park, number of state recreation areas and average annual temperatures.
Budget digital nomads should take note — even though the study factored in rent costs, many of the cities on this list are definitely not known for being on the cheap side for accommodation.
The results show great destinations for remote workers, and these are the top 7 cities, including ideas on what digital nomads can do and see:
7) Dallas, Texas
Dallas has one of the fastest Internet connections in the United States with an average of 117.1 Mbps, one of the largest airports, and there are great hotels in this city. Plus, there are many activities and places to visit.
Remote workers can take advantage of their flexible schedules and explore great museums like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Museum of Art—it’s free!— or the Sixth Floor Museum. And there are cool ways to unwind, such as visiting Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden or going for a run at Klyde Warren Park.
