Onyango and four players who have excelled for Simba SC under Da Rosa

Here is a list of players who have been doing well for the team under the Frenchman.

The Congolese struggled for playtime before the arrival of Da Rosa. In the absence of captain John Raphael Bocco who was injured, the towering attacker finally got game time. He scored two vital goals in the Champions League group stages. Mugalu has also scored eight goals in the league as well.

The attacker was overlooked by former coach Sven Vandenbroeck but things have changed under Didier Gomes Da Rosa. The former Gor Mahia man has repaid the faith shown to him by the Frenchman, scoring in 11 league games in the process which makes him the top scorer for club and league.

The winger has been one of the reasons why Simba have had a good run in continental assignments. He scored three goals to steer the team to the Champions League quarters. The Mozambican has further scored seven goals in the league for the 21-time Tanzania Mainland League champions.

The Zambia international has been the engine for Mnyama and has once again shown his importance by improving his stats this season. In the previous campaign, he managed two goals and 10 assists. But in the ongoing campaign, he has 13 assists on his name and seven goals already.

The Harambee Star joined Wekundu wa Msimbazi at the beginning of the season. Since then, he has been a rock at the back alongside Pascal Wawa. Mnyama conceded two goals in the Caf Champions League and in the league, they have let in 10 goals. Onyango has a goal and an assist so far.
