Fashion Month has come to une fin. As Paris Fashion Week has officially finished, we’ve narrowed down the most noteworthy trends that emerged from a very interesting season. From high-gloss and leather, to preppy argyles and daring sheers, the Fall 2020 shows checked all boxes. Here are seven Paris Fashion Week trends to know:
Argyle-Gone-Fashion
This one is for the classic crusaders: anyone who can’t get enough of the prim and proper.
Caped
Billowing capes left us winded — from silky Balmain numbers to Rick Owens’s walking duvet.
Glossy
Paris received the high-shine treatment, with designers opting for edgier vibes. Kim Kardashian West is amongst the first to take this runway trend to the streets, wearing numerous latex-looking ensembles at Paris Fashion Week events.
Gold is no wallflower, especially on the runway. Expect to see these moments sneaking into everyday dressing next fall.
Designers landed on all points of the leather spectrum, incorporating it into suiting, dresses, onesies, tear-aways and more…
Sheer Joy
From an avante-garde veil to a form-fitting second skin, sheer repeatedly popped up on runways.
Velvet Dreams
This textile never fails to leave a lasting impression on crowds and at parties. Boast a velvet look inspired by the below.
