Rumours of Juliani, Lillian Ng’ang’a wedding create a buzz online

Late yesterday and early today, social media was awash with rumours of Juliani and Lillian Ng’ang’a tying the knot in a secret wedding on Wednesday.

Earlier, Lillian took to Instagram where she dropped a major hint, saying she was glad the date (February 2, 2022) and #2 aligned.

“Happy and grateful to be alive to see my favourite #2 looking soooo aligned! ~ 2.2.22,” she wrote.

Our efforts to reach out to the two to comment on the matter, however, did not bear fruit.

Recently, Lillian gushed over what she loved most about Juliani, stating that they share common interests and values.

“I like to call myself a thinker but when I met Juliani it was like I found the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle. His value and mine were aligned. Just the way he looks at life, what he values, what is important to him are the same things that are important to me and that is very rare,” said Lillian.

Lillian added that getting to know the rapper personally confirmed that he was a good person despite people’s unkind opinions on their newfound love. According to Lillian, Juliani made her a better person and thanked God for bringing him her way.

“It is very unfortunate to see people say unpleasant things about me and Juliani thinking it was the wrong choice for me. I am a better person with him than I was,” said Lillian, adding, “I wake up with Juliani and tell him ‘Darling, I thank God for a new day with you’.”

The two confirmed their relationship in September 2021 when Juliani boldly reiterated that they are consenting adults and people should respect their choice.

“In this photo are two fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together. Any other narrative is false, outdated, and ill-intentioned. Let’s respect people’s choices. Love and let love,” wrote the Utawala hitmaker, a message Lillian reiterated by re-sharing on her timeline.

This came just a few weeks after Lillian announced that she had broken up with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

In between that period of breakup and announcement, Lillian had celebrated her birthday “with beautiful people”, among them Juliani.

However, it has not been all rosy as Juliani, at one point, stated that he was receiving threats for ‘stealing Lillian.’

“How now can you “iba mtu”?! An intelligent adult with a sound mind. The call/text threat on my life today, NOT funny! “ulinyang’anyana” narrative is false, tired, juicy headlines tu. Kindly STOP! For the threats, usi aim face, na prefer niki smile kwa open casket. Baraka,” he wrote at the time.
