It wasn’t the ideal end to a magnificent international career of German midfielder Toni Kroos who hang up his boot in international after Germany’s Euro 2020 round of 16 defeat to England.

Kroos played 106 matches for his national team where he scored 17 goals in an 11-year long career and is certainly one of the finest players ever to don the German shirt.

While the 31-year-old star’s ‘last dance’ for the German national team ended, he played several memorable matches in international football.
