I‘m a big believer that being stylish has nothing to do with the brands you wear and how expensive your clothes are. However, owning a few designer pieces can truly do wonders when it comes to tying an outfit together. I don’t recommend splurging on everything but I honestly do believe that a great winter coat, a luxe handbag, or a pair of killer shoes can make a world of difference. One of my best kept secrets to buying designer brands on sale is shopping at Cettire.
This Australia-based retailer is not your typical flash sale site or pre-owned luxury retailer. Instead, they source brand new, authentic designer pieces from over 180 designers, including many of my favorites, such as Valentino, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and many more. Australia is a world away so I’m glad they provide express shipping globally so you can receive your items in a timely manner.
I wanted to tell you guys about Cettire right now specifically because from November 9-11, they will be offering super competitive prices for Singles Day (basically the same thing as Black Friday but in Australia and the Pacific). It’s the perfect time to shop to get an early start on holiday gifts or to treat yourself to something nice. Their prices are so good – even more so than some of my favorite online retailers and boutiques here in the states. Here are my top picks…
Coats
A coat is one of the easiest ways to look more expensive. It’s also one of the most practical pieces you can own so I always advise going for a quality one because it’ll hold up much longer. This Stand faux fur coat is the perfect example of that. It’s plush, feels really luxe and almost passes up for real fur hence the high price. Most of the brand’s faux fur coats run upward of $500+, but I found this one at Cettire for under $260! The price is comparable to some high street brands which I thought was insane!
Handbags
Next up, every girl should own at least one designer bag whether that’s a trendy bag of the moment or a classic piece. Cettire carries everyone’s favorite classic brands from Fendi to Gucci, but you can also find more contemporary brands for amazing prices. Think Wandler, Staud, and By Far.
Shoes
Finally, the last item I would recommend scouring Cettire for is designer shoes! You’re basically covered from boots to sneakers and everything in between. The Gucci Princetown Mules have been a fashion favorite for years now and I’m always appalled at how the price increases annually. I found this pair for just $700, which is amazing. For winter, I’d probably go with a pair of boots like this by Paris Texas. It’ll elevate any fall and winter outfit!
Have you heard of Cettire? If not, will you be using it to shop for designer brands on sale?
