As part of my job, I am constantly trend watching and forecasting. One of my favorite things is to see an older fashion item resurface into modern times. Fashion is cyclical but it is always really nice seeing a vintage inspired piece or article of clothing reinvented for the current age. Whether you actually deep dive into old thrift stores for hidden gems or prefer to invest in more contemporary takes on vintage from your favorite brands, there are certain looks that are here to stay for the time being. From my recent fashion research, these are the latest vintage inspired trends that are a must have from now and into the fall season.

Juliet Sleeves

Undeniably, the puff sleeve has gone viral this year. This voluminous detail adds a lot of texture to a top, making it instantly chic and feminine. I even featured a few puff sleeve items in my Amazon Drop Collection earlier this year because

I was so charmed by this look! The puff sleeve is a vintage inspired trend that will continue to have legs even as we move into the next season. Heads up for a new variation though as we start to transition into long sleeves. Juliet puff sleeves emphasize the tops of the shoulders for a renaissance, princess-like effect that is hard to resist.

Pearls

Just like clothing, jewelry trends also come and go. Upon conducting my trend research, I have noticed pearls have been making a big comeback lately. A simple, timeless pearl necklace or some pearl stud earrings always tend to add a touch of grace to any look. These alone would pair really well with the aforementioned juliet sleeve or could even dress up a t-shirt. Feel free to mix-and-match in this vintage jewelry item with some of your other pieces for an eye-catching, layered look.

Vintage Florals

Floral patterns never really go out of style but certain designs have different periods of popularization. Larger vintage flower designs have been on my radar, especially at this time of period. It is a great way to add some color into your wardrobe. For something feminine and sweet, a large floral dress is an easy, chic outfit for on-the-go. But the pattern easily lends itself to a cropped top, matching suit set or mini skirt!

A handbag trend that I have been really drawn to is to the coin purse. This is any sort of bag that is shaped like a vintage coin purse which is typically a longer silhouette you would carry as a clutch. This is a really great handbag trend that will add some class to any look. The best thing about it is how easily it can transition from day to night looks.

Square Toe Shoes

Sandals are a must-have during spring and summer. I have accumulated quite the collection of warm weather footwear but I have been crushing on anything with a square toe and kitten heel recently. This is definitely a vintage silhouette revived into a more modern aesthetic. You can bet you will definitely see this trend shift into the fall season with square toed booties.
