H&M announced that the Spring 2020 Conscious collection will drop later this month
H&M’s extended collection, H&M Conscious Exclusive, is back for another season. This time around the wares are infused with glamour from the Golden Age of train travel, with timeless pieces and elevated classics on offer. “The design team felt [that a train] was wonderfully symbolic of H&M’s journey as a company towards circularity. We were inspired by [the 1920’s] Le Train Bleu and decadent creatives such as Jean Cocteau and Pablo Picasso hanging out at Villa Santo Sospir in Cap Ferrat,” says Ella Soccorsi, a designer at H&M. The gauzy day dresses and dreamy evening wear are born from a host of innovative sustainable practices. Deadstock fabrics from previous collections, in combination with Circulose (a natural material sourced from recycled textiles) and Renu (a quality recycled polyester) are the base of this collection, driving forward the Swedish fashion giant’s goal to only use recycled or sustainably sourced materials by 2030. Shop the H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring 2020 collection online and in select stores, starting March 26.
