Now you can get a bit of Charlize Theron’s high-octane glam for yourself.

When Charlize Theron attended this year’s BAFTAs, all eyes were on the delicate but arresting choker she was wearing; fashioned from 18-karat rose gold and rows of custom-cut diamonds, the high-jewellery piece is part of Tiffany & Co.’s new Tiffany T1 collection (available now), which offers bracelets, rings and necklaces boasting the iconic Tiffany T design, currently reimagined with bold beveled edges, and occasionally sprinkled with round brilliant cut diamonds.
The designs reflect chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff’s philosophy about including luxurious elements in everyday styles. “It’s much more common for people to want to curate their own image,” he says. “‘This is my style; this is how I wear Tiffany.’”
Addressing the enduring appeal of rose gold and its use throughout the collection (styles will also be available in white and yellow gold), Krakoff applauds its versatility, noting that “it can be formal or casual.” The unique qualities of the metal lend well to the “edgier” aesthetic of the T1 assemblage, which will appeal to Tiffany fans of all kinds. “When we created the collection, the idea was that whoever wanted to wear it could wear whichever piece appeals to them,” says Krakoff.
The launch of the T1 collection comes on the heels of the Tiffany & Co. Foundation’s donations last month to the Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, and The New York Community Trust’s NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund.
