South Africa based Ugandan socialite turned businesswoman Zari Hassan has wowed netizens after she shared a video jamming to Diamond Platnumz’s latest song ‘Jeje’.
In the clip, she lamented how South Africans are treating life normally despite rising cases of Covid-19 infection in the country. What popped out, however, and saw netizens fail to keep calm was her estranged lover’s song playing in the background.
It caught many by surprise and was the centre of discussion with some of her fans claiming that it was an indication that the two might be warming up to each other after she publicly dumped him on Valentine’s Day in 2018.
Despite the numerous disputes they have played out on social media, the mother of five was clearly enjoying that particular song created by Platnumz and while this might be just a coincidence, it is no brainer that Zari carefully sieves what she shares online with her fans.
Less than a week ago, the proud mother of five took a swipe at Platnumz after he announced that he will be supporting various families who have been majorly affected by the global pandemic.
The Bongo Flava star pledged to pay rent for 500 households in Tanzania as the country grapples with the coronavirus pandemic.
He revealed that he will be paying three-months’ rent to the families as a helpful gesture for those struggling to make ends meet during the health crisis.
“I pretty much know that countless life circumstances have changed especially in business, as many businesses are down, hence rendering to financial difficulties and life becoming a little bit tough to many of us…On Monday I shall announce the procedure on how these 500 families shall receive house rent,” he announced.
That did not settle well with Zari, who also took to social media to claim that Platnumz should be ashamed that he was busy pleasing the world yet he doesn’t provide for his own kids.
“But you don’t know what your kids eat, or how they sleep if fees and medical insurance is paid. You will never please the world when your own are not happy and taken care of. You are selling a lie. Some people have become clowns to some of us,” reacted Zari Hassan.
In efforts to iron out their differences, he revealed that he reached out to Zari following her outburst and the two came to an understanding.
“Baada ya kuona ujumbe ule wa Zari, nilimpigia simu na kumueleza, licha ya tofauti zetu Ila bado namuheshimu sana. Alinielewa na nadhani baada ya corona Kuisha tutapanga namna ya kuwalea watoto wetu pamoja,” he said.
And true to his words, Diamond could not hide the joy of getting a chance to talk to his two children who are based in South Africa.
He took to Instagram and shared a video of his daughter and son after a call with them.
“Nothing sweet than waking up to the sweetest video from your beloved kids,” said Diamond.
