DeAndre Hopkins shows great hands, fancy footwork to put Cardinals on the board

GLENDALE, Ariz. – It didn’t matter how tightly Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar was covering Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on third-and-2 from Seattle’s 35 with 2:45 left in the first quarter Sunday night at State Farm Stadium. Hopkins was going to make a play.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray took the snap in shotgun, with Hopkins the lone receiver to his left. He threw it about 40 yards in the air, just over Hopkins’ left shoulder. Hopkins hauled in his third touchdown catch of the season with ease to pull the Cardinals within 10-7, showing nifty footwork to catch the ball, get both feet in-bounds and get in the end zone.

It was a perfect throw by Murray followed by an effortless catch by Hopkins.
