Guard KK Bransford, the No. 27 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, led Mount Notre Dame (OH) to a 57-55 win over Newark High School in the Division 1 state title game. Bransford neared a triple-double with 21 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds, while Michigan-bound senior Laila Phelia contributed 11 points.

Westlake (GA) won the Georgia 6A championship 64-46 over Carrollton thanks to 24 points from 2022 stock riser Ta’Niya Latson. South Carolina signee and Naismith High School Girls’ Player of the Year Raven Johnson had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

DeSoto (TX) beat Cypress Creek 53-37 in the most anticipated matchup of the year in Texas. 2022 Sa’Myah Smith was named MVP of the state tournament with 10 points and 14 rebounds, while teammate and Houston-bound senior Kendall Brown had 12 points and four assists.

BYU-bound senior Emma Calvert had a game-high 30 points and 12 rebounds and 2023 post player Maggie Mendelson had 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead Fremont (UT) to a 63-43 victory over Herriman in the 6A state championship.

Norman (OK) won the 6A state championship over Bixby, 48-37, thanks to a 15-point effort from Oklahoma-bound senior Kelbie Washington.
