Detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday seized drugs concealed in HIV-1/2 sachets.
The drugs, which are suspected to be heroin, was impounded following a tip off that there was a consignment which was declared as medicament and destined for Lagos, Nigeria.
“A search was conducted on the consignment leading to the confiscation of Narcotic drugs (Heroin) concealed in HIV-1/2 sachets,” said DCI in a tweet.

CONCEALED DRUGS
Last week, detectives intercepted heroin weighing approximately 12 kilograms at the same airport.
The heroin was concealed in two radio speakers and declared as traditional baskets and sandals.
It was delivered at the airport by a clearing agent for export to Monrovia- Liberia.
