In addition to prepping my wardrobe for the warmer months, I have also been updating my beauty cabinet. Personally, I love experimenting and testing new products including everything from skincare to makeup to fragrance. And just like clothing, I am more inclined to use certain beauty products in the spring rather than the winter. These past couple of weeks, I have discovered some products I am continually impressed with on a day-to-day basis, so much that I wanted to compile them into a blog post for you all to try out this season. If you are looking for something new, here are my must have spring beauty must haves for 2021!

Facial Skincare: Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil and Double R Serum

Hands down, some of my go-to skincare products have been this duo from Guerlain – the Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil and the Double R Serum. Both are made from black bee honey and royal jelly which you can see activated in the oil microbeads. As I get older, products that will prevent my skin from aging are an absolute must as these miracle solutions work to minimize wrinkles and pores while also making the skin look and feel more radiant. Plus, although these products are quite rich and moisturizing, I feel like it is not heavy or pore clogging for those with oily or combination skin. I love layering both of these products in my morning and nighttime routine. The ultra light, floral scent definitely reminds me of the spring blooms.

Eye Skincare: Estée Lauder ReNutriv Ultimate Diamond Transformative Eye Serum

Speaking of aging, one of the areas I am concerned with the most are my eyes. They say that the skin around your eyes is the most delicate, so your future self will thank you in the long run for paying special attention to this area. These past couple of weeks, the eye product I have been loving the most is the Estee Lauder ReNutriv Ultimate Diamond Transformative Eye Serum. The power ingredient in this product is the black truffle extract that has been known to stimulate skin for visible eye brightness and vitality. I have to say that the packaging is a game changer too as the wand really helps to get the product into all the contours of the eye.

Sun Protection: Coola Full Spectrum 360 Sun Silk Drops Organic Sunscreen SPF 30

If there is one beauty tip you need to take away from me, it is to incorporate daily use of sunscreen in your routine every single day! Skincare products aside, one of the best ways to maintain youthful skin is protect it from UV rays. This is especially important as the weather gets warmer and we begin to spend more days out and about. You might think sunscreen is incredibly thick to apply for daily use but perhaps you are just not using the right one. This Coola Sun Silk SPF 30 Sunscreen is weightless and acts more like a serum than anything. I noticed that it also works like a charm when layering underneath a full face of makeup as it does not give off a white cast and creates a really hydrating base for foundation.

Lips: Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour

Although, not necessarily new to me, I recently fell back in love with the Chanel Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Stick. As our wardrobes get lighter and brighter for the change of seasons, why not do the same for your beauty collection too? I swear by a bright, bold lip as it not only helps to make your skin appear brighter but it also just makes you feel more awake and confident. The Chanel lipstick is not only iconic to own but it is such a great formula I will continue to stand by. It uses ingredients like jojoba and mimosa butters to ensure your lips are hydrated too because the last thing you want is to call attention to dry, cracked lips!

Fragrance: Gorgeous by Michael Kors

Lastly, the fragrance I have continually been attracted to for daily wear is Gorgeous by Michael Kors. It is a balanced composition of both floral and smokey notes that is described as optimistic, luminous and rich. I receive so many compliments when I wear this perfume out as it is so fresh and tantalizing. One of the qualities I absolutely need in a fragrance is its wear and I do find this particular product lasts several hours with only a need to reapply maybe when adjusting from day to night. This eau de parfum is perfect for those who are looking for something different for the springtime but want to stay away from a stereotypical, strong floral scent.
