Tanasha Donna gushes over her flourishing friendship with Hamisa Mobetto

Bongo Flava superstar Diamond Platnumz’s ex-girlfriend Tanasha Donna and her ‘co-wife,’ Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto’s unique relationship keeps getting better by the day. Gushing over their newfound friendship during an interview, Tanasha described Hamisa as humble and hardworking, adding that she was more than pleased to communicate with her despite their rocky past. According to the Sawa crooner, what started as a business encounter quickly turned into a long-lasting friendship, thanks to Hamisa’s hospitality and impeccable design talent.

“First of all, her son is my son’s brother, so for me personally, I am not going to hold a grudge over my past with someone. We all move on. She is a hardworking woman and very good at her job. I was looking to partner someone prominent working in the fashion industry in Kenya or Tanzania. I focused on the two because I have a big audience in Tanzania. Working with her also meant I will get the attention of Tanzanians, and the designs came out looking amazing.

“I was looking at the whole thing from a business perspective on how it will benefit both me and her. Besides, she is a very humble, hardworking, and I respect her for what she does as she is a positive thinker,” said Tanasha.

The two worked together on Tanasha’s song dubbed Liar featuring Masauti, where Hamisa was tasked with styling, and as expected, she nailed it.

Tanasha disclosed that she and Hamisa have been in constant communication and have even had the opportunity to speak to Hamisa’s son, Dylan, over the phone and thinks he is such a bubbly boy. Come October, Tanasha hopes to fly Dylan and his mother to Kenya to meet his half-brother Naseeb Junior and celebrate his birthday with him.

“Our sons have not met, but there are plans to meet. They talk on video call, and Hamisa’s son is such a bubbly boy. I want to bring them to Kenya on the 2nd of October, which is my son’s birthday,” she added.

Asked why she hasn’t reached out to Diamond Platnumz first baby Mama Zari Hassan, Tanasha explained that when the time is right, and they both feel ready, she will reach out to her. Tanasha stated that there is no need for them to hate each other at the expense of their children’s future.

When the time comes Insha Allah I will reach out to her. When we are both ready and the time is right. There is no need to be enemies of each other. I have moved on but I do respect the father of my hold and his baby mama. I do not want my son to ask me why I stopped him from meeting his siblings all based on my ego. His needs come first and that is what being a good mother is all about,” she said.
