Keeping the kids entertained throughout the quarantine has been one of my biggest struggles. But I’m so glad it’s finally warmed up because that gives us more options for outdoor activities. One of the ways I get the girls excited for what’s to come is shopping for new clothes. After being cooped up for so long, I decided to splurge on some things at Luisaviaroma for the girls. I’ve always loved Luisaviaroma for its bold and unique women’s collection, so I was excited to see that the kids’ offering is no different. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite summer outfits for kids whether you’re prepping for an upcoming vacation or plan to stick around at home for a while.
Swimwear & Accessories
Summer is all about playing in water for the girls. I love that Luisaviaroma has a vast selection of swimsuits and summer accessories that immediately make the family feel like we’re headed to the beach. From floats to sunglasses and swimwear to sun hats, you can find everything you need for a last minute getaway. And even if you’re just staying at home with a blow up pool, new swim accessories can be a serious game changer.
Dresses Galore
Summer outfits for kids, especially little girls, are all about dresses. I love nicer dresses because they can usually be worn to various summer occasions – and even well into the school year once it starts. Capri’s dress is such a perfect example. I love the pleats, collared neck, and short sleeves.
Basics
I’m a firm believer that kids’ designer clothing is an investment for the future. Basics like denim, t-shirts, and hoodies can be worn all through the year. Plus, when these garments no longer fit, they’ve usually held up well enough that you can pass it down to other children – and they never go out of style.
Back-to-School Essentials
School is starting earlier in some states – and I know some parents will probably even consider summer school. Luisaviaroma is the perfect spot to grab some of those back-to-school essentials, like high-quality backpacks, sneakers that are made to last, and even uniform-inspired pieces. I love Hazel’s look because it’s super cute in or out of the school.
