One thing that immediately comes to mind when I think about tried and true staples is denim. While there haven’t been too many changes in the denim world over the past few years, 2021 is a whole different story and brings forth plenty of new silhouettes to try. If you’re looking for an affordable place to buy the best spring denim trends, then you’ve come to the right place. Today, I’m partnering with Walmart to share my favorite jeans from their new Free Assembly line and how you can style them right now. Free Assembly not only makes it easy to shop for elevated essentials at great prices – but they’re committed to sustainability.
90’s Inspired Jeans
The biggest denim trend to adopt this spring is baggy 90’s inspired jeans. This one piece alone will make all your basics feel updated immediately. To put a modern spin on this denim silhouette, pair it with a cropped or fitted t-shirt and add an oversized denim shirt. That denim on denim aesthetic never gets old – and Free Assembly makes it so easy to get the look on a budget without giving up quality.
Straight Leg Jeans
Full-length, straight leg jeans are another trend at the top of my must-have list. You can put together a stylish, of-the-moment look with block-heel booties, a bold blazer, and basic tee. If color isn’t up your alley, this Free Assembly blazer also comes in black and white.
Swapping your blue jeans for an off-white hue will make your denim outfits feel more sophisticated. I love this pair to transition any outfit from winter to spring. I’ll be styling mine with pieces in a similar color for a monochromatic effect. Just tuck this beige cardigan into these jeans, then add some espadrilles and a woven handbag – and you have an easy chic look.
The last denim style to score from the Free Assembly line is these wide leg jeans. This silhouette can be tricky to pull off for us shorter girls, but fortunately, this pair is available in “Short” and “Regular” lengths. All you need to balance out the voluminous bottom is a cropped or fitted top. I’d pair it with this jacket and this funnel neck shirt for a cool, transitional look.
What are your favorite spring denim trends?
