It seems like new beauty brands are popping up everyday – so much that there’s no possible way I can keep up with them all. However, that won’t stop me from trying. As we enter a new season, it’s just as important to update your beauty cabinet as it is your wardrobe. But beauty spans across so many categories from skincare to haircare and body care to scalp care – plus so much more. Instead of bombarding you with all of it, I wanted to round up a few new makeup brands I just discovered and absolutely love. Now these brands are by no means new, but I just hadn’t got around to trying them till now. Scroll ahead for my picks and let me know if I missed any of your favorites!
Kjaer Weis
As I dive more into clean makeup brands, it was no surprise that Kjaer Weis came across my radar. It’s loved by celebrities and influencers alike for its high-performing makeup line, recyclable packaging, and sustainability initiatives. I have to give it up to the liquid foundation, which blended well into my skin and was extremely pleasant to wear. Since I have been more into cream products lately, it was also no surprise that I immediately became obsessed with the cream blushes. It leaves you with the most beautiful flush.
Kosas
I’ve heard of Kosas many times before but just never got around to trying it. One of its newer products, the concealer, is what started my obsession with the brand. The medium coverage is great for everyday, but I also appreciate the brightening effect and eye cream technology that’s infused into the product. I’ve gone on to experiment with the lipstick and lip balms – and recommend it all!
Saie
If you haven’t seen aesthetic makeup line, Saie, on Instagram yet, you’re truly missing out! I was instantly drawn to all the dewy feels and natural look! With a focus on clean ingredients and sustainability, you can feel good about the colors you put on your face. The Glowy Super Gel is a must-have to combat dull skin in the winter.
Tower 28
If you have ultra sensitive skin and feel uneasy about slathering new makeup brands onto your skin, enter Tower 28. This Cali-based brand was made specifically for you, but can be used by anyone else. I love the fun, quirky packaging and soft, natural finishes that feel undone when worn. The SuperDew Balm was a highlight for me as it’s wearable during the day and leaves the skin with a glossy finish that’s not glittery or shimmery.
Flesh
Finally, we have Flesh, a makeup line that hits that mid-tier market between drugstore and high-end. The prices aren’t crazy so it’s definitely worth trying. Again, I love the focus on cream products here especially as we dive into dry skin season. I’ve been very into glossy skin and textures so this product was a hype for me. If you love matte lips as much as I do, then the lipgloss is also a must try!
