In post on Twitter, Magaya said, in those 25 days, he has been to the ‘known and unknown’, exposing the health struggle he has had to contend with after his health worsened.
“25 days in ICU. I have been to the known and unknown,” he tweeted on Monday morning.
Netizens immediately took to the comment section to wish him a quick recovery.
Hellen Njeri wrote, “Be strong Norman. God is with you day and night. Just trust him and believe in him. He holds the key of your life and he can’t give Satan to destroy your life. May God see you through and protect you always. Amen.”
Hawaii FiveO added, “ If you are still breathing it means you still have work to do. There is a reason you are in ICU God knows why, call on Him alone He will answer your call. As a muslim the remaining 10 are special because there is one night where anything we ask it is answered.”
Otiende Steve Biko posted, “it is well my brother our God the Father will see you through this, I’m wondering where are your true friends that you stood with when they really wanted you to. Look at the people who are sending you good will messages, where are they.”
In November last year, Magaya opened up about his troubled life attracting concern online for his own safety.
He said he was not seeking sympathy and was content with his predicament then and blamed it on his political stance, declaring his unwavering support for ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In his social media posts, the former close aide of Odinga lamented about the high costs of medication that he felt subjected him to a death sentence.
“How does a person out of work and on a shoelace budget maintain drugs demands of 100k per month!!! Torture this is.?” he posed.

“Important to note that all my job applications on Kenya miserably fail because of my political standpoint ! Long may it continue for I have no intention to change my political affiliation soon! But the conditions you visit on me today will haunt you to death,” Magaya added.
Magaya collapsed at the Bomas of Kenya in August 2017 during the tabulation of presidential votes in the 2017 General Election.
In September 2019, he was admitted to Nairobi Hospital before being flown to India for specialised treatment after a heart attack.
That was the last time Magaya was seen in public but he is active on social media.
